We’ve had a decent amount of snow here in Maine so far this year, and more on the way!

Revisiting the same places during different times of the year is a good way to capture the cycle of the seasons. I often go to a pond that’s close to home. It’s different every time.

After a really mild fall, winter has arrived in Maine. This is our second snow storm this week. Time to get out the cross country skis and snowshoes!

These images from our back woods remind me that it won’t be long before the snow falls. With new snowshoes and cross country skis, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.
